Operator and scope
Jacob Austin operates GoWebinars from Quebec, Canada, and is responsible for personal information protection. This notice covers the public website and waitlist, not a software account or webinar. Use the contact details above for privacy requests.
Information and purposes
With your consent, we collect your email address, signup date and accepted notice version to maintain the list, invite you to the launch webinar and send launch updates. Joining is optional. It does not create an account, automatically register you for a webinar or take payment. This form does not send an automatic email.
Hosting and location
Cloudflare provides hosting, security and the D1 database. Its infrastructure may process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare’s approximate country and region information is used to show the language choice in Quebec; we do not add it to your signup record. The French version remains directly accessible. We do not use GPS location.
Access and transfers
Jacob Austin can access the list for administration. Cloudflare processes information to provide its services. Information may be processed outside Quebec or Canada, including in the United States, where laws and government access may differ. We do not sell the list or share it for advertising. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect our rights and security. No campaign delivery provider is connected to this form; we will assess any such service before transferring the list and update this notice as needed.
Retention and security
We retain entries for at most 12 months, removing older entries through a daily cleanup and during new signups. Attempt counters, including an email digest used to limit abuse, expire within one day. Technical backups may temporarily retain deleted information according to the provider’s cycle. We restrict administrative access and use HTTPS in production, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and tools
The marketing site does not load advertising pixels, marketing analytics or an external translator. It does not set a language-preference cookie. Cloudflare may use necessary security mechanisms. Help-panel questions are handled locally in your browser; Contact the team opens your email app and sends nothing until you send the email. External links have their own privacy notices.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent, request access, correction or deletion, and ask questions or make a complaint by emailing the contact above. Identify the address concerned; we may proportionately verify your identity. We will respond within applicable deadlines, normally within 30 days in Quebec. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing. Future launch emails must offer an unsubscribe mechanism. You may also contact Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information. Other rights may apply where you live.
Audience and updates
This list is intended for adults using the service for business purposes. We do not knowingly seek children’s information. Material changes of purpose will be explained before they apply, with fresh consent where required. Updates to this notice will be dated.
